ObituariesBarbara B. Hall Mrs. Hall’s first husband, the late Calvert Hall, was a past chairman of the Mental Health Committee of the Chestnut Hill Community Association. A native of Lynn, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Chester and Mildred Barrows. She was a graduate of Adelphi College, where her father had been chairman of the history department for more than 25 years. After living in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina and Georgia, Mrs. Hall and her husband settled in Chestnut Hill, where they lived for 35 years. Towards the end of her life, Mrs. Hall married Christopher Morris of Anna Maria, Fla., who preceded her in death. She was active in the Mayflower Society, the English Speaking Union, the Audubon Society, the Jefferson Hospital Auxiliary, the Pennsylvania School for the Deaf and the Unitarian Universalist Church. She was a former member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Mrs. Hall is survived by sons Barry Hall of Fishers Island, N.Y., Billy Hall of Blue Bell, and David Hall of Seoul, South Korea; daughters, Susan Andrews of San Rafael, Calif., Pam Bawden of Grosse Pointe Park, Mich., Betsy Hills of Anna Maria, Fla., Leslie Matkosky of Nashville, Tenn., Barbie Gumminl of Denver, Col., and Laura Jamra of Madison, Conn.; a sister, Louise M. Wisner of Glenview, Ill.; 15 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at the George Washington Memorial Park Chapel, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, with interment at the memorial park. A reception will follow at the Philadelphia Cricket Club, 6025 W. Valley Green Rd., Flourtown. Memorial contributions may be made to Wildlife Inc., P.O. Box 1449, Anna Maria, FL 34216.
Marjorie T. Kollock Mrs. Kollock was born in Philadelphia, the daughter of George and Anna (Hartman) Tams. She was a former member of the Philadelphia Cricket Club and the Merion Cricket Club. She also was a member of the Everglades Club and the Sailfish Club in Florida. She is survived by a son, David P. Kollock of Bryn Mawr; a daughter, Helna Babcock of Jamestown, R.I.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, David H. Kollock III, and a son, George T. Kollock, preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 11a.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields, 8000 St. Martin’s Lane, Philadelphia PA 19118. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
William F. Field Mr. Field is survived by his wife, Etoise, eight children and eleven grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales. Relatives and friends may call from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice Program at Central Montgomery Medical Center, 100 Medical Campus Drive, Lansdale, PA 19446.
Roger E. Snodgrass Mr. Snodgrass, a native of Columbus, Ohio, was a retired executive of the Harsco Corp. of Camp Hill, Pa. He served in the Army during World War II. He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Ann Campbell; daughters Dr. Bethanne Snodgrass of Toledo, Ohio, and Lori Snodgrass of Chestnut Hill, and three grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the family residence at The Hill at Whitemarsh. Interment was private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Odyssey Hospice, 525 Plymouth Rd., Suite 315, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
