MORRIS ARBORETUM WELLNESS WALKS 10:30 a.m. at Morris Arboretum, 100 Northwester Ave. every Saturday November 1 through March 28. Walkers meet at the Visitors Center wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, ready to walk two mile-long loops on the paved paths.  Guides point out some of the Arboretum’s specimen trees and other distinctive features along the way. Environmental Art Installations The Schuylkill Center For Environmental Education site located on the corner of Port Royal Ave. and Hagy’s Mill Road in Roxborough, will feature work by Jennifer Chapman, Keiko Miyamori, Kara Rennert, and Marisha Simons, and is guest curated by Warren Angle. Visitors can view the work from September 6, 2008 – January 2, 2009. A public reception will be held Saturday, September 6, 2-5 p.m.,including an artist talk and tour at 3p.m. and a video introduction by Vincent Romaniello. Paintings And Sculpture by Craig Stover at the Allens Lane Art Center, 601 West Allens Lane September 5 through October 24. Opening reception on Friday, September 5, 6-9 p.m. Come meet the artist and Allens Lane Art Center’s new Executive Director. On view will be examples of Craig’s studio work, including his Imaginary Botanicals series and several small-scale aluminum sculptures called Phantom Animals (many of which have never been shown publicly before). Church of the Annunciation is forming an Early Childhood Music Class for children ages four and five, which will begin on Thursday September 18. The classes will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. at The Church of the Annunciation at Carpenter Lane and Lincoln Drive in Mt. Airy, and Will continue for 15 sessions.
