Crime ReportThe following crimes were reported for the week of Aug. 24-31: Aug. 25. 400 block of W. Mermaid Ln. Complainant states that an iPod and two cell phone chargers valued at $500 were stolen from three unlocked cars between 11 p.m. on Aug. 25 and 9 a.m. on Aug. 26. Aug. 26. 7700 block of Germantown Ave. An employee at Staples reported a black male, approximately 5’8” with a light complexion and wearing a tan shirt and blue jeans asked to see a HP ink cartridge and when it was handed to him he walked out of the store at 10:32 a.m. Aug. 30. 8300 block of Germantown Ave. A 19-year-old employee at Fiesta Pizza reported her pink wallet with Chestnut Hill College written on it stolen while she was working at 3:09 p.m. The wallet contained her ID, ATM card and $20. A suspect used the stolen ATM card to purchase gas.
