Crime Report

The following crime is from the week of July 13 to July 20, 2008.

July 15. 100 block of E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that while walking home two women approached her and said, “Give me your iPod and money.” One woman grabbed her hand and ripped the iPod from her. She attempted to call 911 but the other woman grabbed her by the head and attacked her. She screamed and the two women fled east on Willow Grove Ave.

July 17. 7700 Crittenden St. Complainant states that she left her silver wallet containing ID and credit cards in a shopping cart at Superfresh and an employee took it when he was leaving work at 10:54 p.m. The incident was caught on video surveillance. Police are pursuing an arrest warrant on the known suspect.

July 19. 8100 block of Devon St. Complainant states that a silver 1986 Volvo 240DL he bought from someone else but that he never put in his name was stolen at 10 p.m. on July 18.

Summary — Three crimes for week: one auto theft, one robbery, one theft.
