The first joint act of the Mt. Airy BID and the new Mt. Airy Revitalization Corporation (MARC) is the installation of security lighting on the Avenue. This undertaking is made possible by the generous financial support of State Representative Cherelle Parker to the MARC, which was able to present the Mt. Airy BID with $30,000 on Friday, June 13 to begin the project. (From left) John Siemiarowski, electric contractor; Julian Wells, security lighting committee, Mt.
