Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of May 25 to May 31, 2008.

May 25. 7700 block St. Martin’s Lane. Complainant states that between 4 p.m. on May 23 and 1 p.m. on May 25, an unknown person[s] tore off glass pane window from its hinges and burglarized home. Taken were two computers: one black Compaq computer and one black Compaq laptop, one Sharp Aquas 20 “ television, one diamond solitaire ring, one gold ring with platinum setting and one gold necklace with porcelain baby charms.

May 28. 8600 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that two black males took complainant’s wallet from her purse which was behind counter. First male, 5’10” tall, stocky build, wearing a tan and red shirt; second male, 5’8” tall, stocky build, wearing a blue shirt. Reported at 5 p.m.

May 30. 9400 block Meadowbrook Ave. Complainant states that between 2 and 5 p.m. on May 28, an unknown person gained entry through open second floor window. Complainant was notified by alarm company that alarm was activated at 4:04 p.m.

Summary — Three crimes for week: two burglaries and one break-in.

Neighbors, let’s really make a difference. When alarm goes off, let’s pay attention and call 911. If you see people or a car leaving, write down as much information as possible as to color, make, model and license number. It’s our community and we all have to help.
