Torrisi joins Tierney
Tierney Communications has announced the hiring of Joshua Torrisi, of Chestnut Hill, as an account director.
Torrisi comes to Tierney from the Human Care division of McCann Erickson in New York, where he worked on direct-to-consumer advertising for the Pfizer Viagra account. He launched the “Viva!” ad campaign for Viagra including concept testing and negotiating rights to the song, “Viva Las Vegas.”
As an Account Executive at Euro RSCG MVBMS Partners, Torrisi coordinated global print and television campaigns for Intel’s Centrino Mobile Technology and worked on production of its corporate affairs campaign. At Bates USA, he worked on campaigns for Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Glucovance; TAP Pharmaceuticals’ Prevacid; and a pro-bono effort for the Advertising Council called “Operation Graduation” to encourage high school students to stay in school.

At Tierney, Torrisi will serve as the Account Director on the PECO and Independence Blue Cross accounts.
