Crime ReportThe following crimes are from the week of Feb. 17 to Feb. 23, 2008. Feb. 20. 500 block W. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person entered a 2004 Chevy Impala and stole an FM radio, a Blackberry and money. Feb. 21. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states he was admitted to the hospital on Feb. 9 and an unknown person stole his clothes. He spoke to the nurses on duty and they didn’t know what happened to his belongings. Feb. 21. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Police met complainant at Chestnut Hill and Germantown avenues, and she stated that on Feb. 19, while at the house of offender, offender asked for a hug and she refused. Male grabbed her and tried removing her clothes. He then left the room and returned naked and sat on her chest. After intercourse, complainant said offender took her home. Offender tried to kiss complainant on way to her home. Summary — Three crimes for week: one theft from vehicle, one theft and one rape. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
