Crime ReportThe following crimes are from the week of Jan. 27 to Feb. 2, 2008. Jan. 27. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant, emergency room clerk, states she was struck by the closed fist of offender resulting in a gash over her right eye which resulted in three stitches. Offender, whose name is being withheld because of age, was found by neighbor passed out in his home and taken up to hospital and treated for alcohol poisoning. Reported at 11:20 p.m. Jan. 29. Unit block E. Highland Ave. Complainant states that his 2001 Ford Expedition, Pennsylvania tag GWP8648, was parked at 3 p.m. on Jan. 25 with keys in ignition, and was stolen. Jan. 29. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states she left her apartment at 7:30 a.m. and when she returned at 4 p.m. she found door had been pried open and the following items were stolen: a white pearl necklace, a pair of diamond earrings, 16 silver and gold rings and a blue LG cell phone. Summary: Three crimes for week: one burglary, one stolen vehicle and one aggravated assault.
