Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 20 to Jan. 26, 2008.

Jan. 22. 700 block Wolcott Drive.  Complainant states that between 2:30 and 9 p.m. on Jan. 21, an unknown person stole a UPS package the size of a shoe box containing vitamins.

Jan. 23. 100 block E. Hartwell Lane. Complainant states that between 8:45 a.m. and 11 p.m., an unknown person entered second floor rear window and stole one Dell Vostro desktop computer, monitor and modem.

Jan. 23. 8100 block Devon Street. Complainant states that between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., an unknown person forced entry through a rear trap door into basement and stole a digital camera, loose change and cash.

Jan. 23. Complainant states that while he was standing on train platform, a male approached him and demanded money. Male stated he had a gun but complainant never saw a weapon. Male took money from complainant and fled eastbound on Germantown Ave. Offender, black male, 5’10” tall, 16 – 20 years old, medium complexion, wearing a blue hoodie, blue jeans and a blue/red hat. Reported at 3:32 p.m.

Jan. 26. 8300 block Ardleigh Street. Complainant states he entered property and noticed wires were out of place and called police. Police did a walk through and found rear door was forced open and a Dell computer was stolen.

Summary — Five crimes for week: one robbery, three burglaries and one residential theft.
