Crime ReportThe following crimes are from the week of Jan. 6 to Jan. 12, 2008. Jan. 7. 8400 block Germantown Ave. Between 1:30 and 1:45 on Jan. 4, an unknown male walked into store and asked to see item in display case and then took the following items: one gold broach with garnets, an oval broach with green stones, a teardrop-shaped yellow stone choker, two pendants, one with green stone and one with braided inside. Male then asked employee which days she had off during week. Black male, 6’tall, 210 lbs., heavy build, beard, wearing a winter tan coat, blue jeans and wearing pink nail polish. Jan. 8. Unit block Rex Avenue. Complainant states that an unknown person stole three pairs of earrings from her home. Heating company was in her home doing some work. Jan. 9. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that he had a group of people in his apartment from 2 – 8 a.m. and someone stole a laptop computer. Summary — Three crimes for week: one retail theft and two other thefts. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
