Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 18 to Nov. 24, 2007. Nov. 19. 8500 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person came into store and stole various items of clothing. Sale tickets of items were left in dressing room. Reported at 3:10 p.m. Nov. 22. 200 block Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side window of a 2005 Toyota Sienna and stole a purse containing credit cards, money, driver’s license, social security card and a Blackberry e-mail phone. Reported at 10:47 a.m. Nov. 23. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that three black males took items from store without paying for them and fled in a gray minivan. Taken were 10 packs of Crest White strips, eight packs of Rogaine and 20 packs of Prilosec. First male, 6’5” tall, 300 lbs., light complexion, wearing a black leather jacket; second male, 5’8” tall, dark complexion, wearing a black hoodie; third male, 5’8” tall, dark complexion, wearing a black hoodie. Occurred at noon. Nov. 24. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states he let his brother hold his green 1994 Toyota Camry and he still has not returned it. Police called his brother and he said he would return it to his brother. Nov. 24. Unit block Summit Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person damaged rear door to back porch and stole jewelry, DVD player, Gateway computer and a digital camera. Complainant was out of town since 1 p.m. on Nov. 21. Summary – Five crimes for week: one burglary, one stolen vehicle, one theft from vehicle and two retail thefts. Good advice: Do not leave anything visible in vehicle and if you are going to put something in trunk, do not do it when you park your car. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
