Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 30 to Oct. 6, 2007. Oct. 2. 7800 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a laptop computer from room in office. There is one other person that has access to room. Reported at 10:40 a.m. Oct. 3. 8700 block Prospect Ave. Complainant states that between 8 a.m. and midnight on Sept. 29, an unknown person stole toiletries, hair dryer and cleaning supplies. No sign of forced entry. Reported at 8 a.m. Oct. 5. 8500 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that a black male ran from store taking four faux black leather jackets. Male, 11 – 15 years old, wearing a white polo shirt, tan pants and a black book bag. Reported at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6. 100 Hillcrest Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole her copper downspouts and damaged two spouts in rear of house. Reported at 12 a.m. Summary — Four crimes for week: two retail thefts, one residential theft and one other theft. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
