Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 16 to Sept. 22, 2007.

Sept. 16. 8200 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person removed from pocketbook a wallet containing money, driver’s license, health card, credit cards and social security card. Occurred at 4 a.m.

Sept. 18. 400 block E. Abington Ave. Complainant states she had money taken from her purse on three different dates: Sept. 15, Sept. 16, and Sept. 17.  Complainant states that thefts took place between midnight and 6 a.m. No sign of forced entry.

Sept. 19. 400 block E. Abington Ave. Complainant states between Sept. 4 and Sept. 5, an unknown person went into her room and stole money and her bank card which was inside her wallet.

Sept. 19. 8800 block Germantown Ave. An unknown person stole a Pennsylvania tag GVB7085 from a gray 2007 Lexus. Car was in parking lot.

Sept. 21. 7800 Ardleigh Street. Complainant states that an unknown person ripped off screen and broke window on second floor and entered home. It is unknown what was taken at this time. Reported at 10:40 a.m.

Sept. 22. 8200 block Millman Street. Complainant states that while working outside he noticed six copper down spouts were missing.

Summary — Six crimes for week: one burglary, one theft from vehicle, one residential theft and three other thefts.
