Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of July 15 to July 21, 2007.

July 16. 7700 Stenton Ave. Complainant and friend (both males) were approached by two white males who pulled out guns. They showed badges and proceeded to search complainants. Males fled in a green van. Reported at 5:21 p.m.

July 16. 700 block Wolcott Drive. Complainant states she had a party and after everyone had gone she discovered one year of bank statements and a one year lease were missing from her file cabinet. Reported at 1:06 p.m.

July 17. 9200 block Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that a white male, 21 — 25 years old, wearing a dark t-shirt with light tan shorts stole a back leaf blower from lawn. Male put leaf blower in a Dodge RAM and drove off. Reported at 12:59 p.m.

July 17. 200 block E. Highland Ave. Complainant states that she parked her 2004 yellow Suzuki motorcycle in front of her house at 7:30 p.m. and at 8:30 p.m. she noticed it was missing.

July 20. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that an unknown black male, 26 – 30 years old, 6’1” tall, thin build, with short black hair, wearing a polo shirt with blue horizontal print, ran out of store with an unknown amount of items in brown bag. Male ran towards E. Mermaid Lane. Reported at 12:37 p.m.

July 21. 100 block Northwestern Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person entered an unlocked black Ford Explorer and stole two credit cards.

Summary — Six crimes for week: one robbery, one stolen vehicle, one theft from vehicle, one retail theft and two other thefts. Remember to keep car and home doors locked.
