Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of May 20 to May 26, 2007.

May 21. 200 block W. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states she left her car in driveway unlocked and an unknown person stole a black compact disc with green stripes containing 75 children CDs. Reported at 4:08 p.m.

May 23. 8800 block Crefeld Street. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a Macintosh iBook laptop computer from upstairs classroom. Reported at 3:01 p.m.

May 24. Unit block E. Moreland Ave. Neighbor states he saw offender coming out of upstairs window at this location. Complainant was home at time of burglary. Point of entry seems to have been back porch window. Taken was foreign currency, Euros. Reported at 10:42 p.m.

May 24. Germantown Ave. and W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side front window and stole a black work bag from a blue 2003 Dodge Durango. Reported at 3:11 p.m.

May 25. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Director of Security states that a known female residing in the 8500 block of Algon Avenue stole two prescription pads from location. Reported at 9:01 p.m.

Summary – Five crimes for week: one burglary, two thefts from vehicles and two other thefts. Summer is here and so are the thieves, so let’s make it harder for them to rob us.
