Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of April 22 to April 28, 2007. April 22. Germantown & Moreland Aves. Complainant states he was about to board a SEPTA bus when a white male grabbed his Transpass from his hand and fled southbound on Germantown Ave. Male, 6’2” tall, 21 – 25 years old, wearing blue jeans and a brown Carhart jacket. Reported at 6:14 p.m. April 23. 100 block W. Mermaid Lane. Complainant states that an unknown person entered an unlocked red Subaru Forester and stole an iPOD adapter. Reported at 12:58 p.m. April 24. Unit block Sunset Ave. Complainant states that he last saw his black 1998 Honda Accord, Pennsylvania tag FHM 2098 in his driveway on April 5 at 8 p.m. He thought his ex-wife had made stolen car report. Reported at 11:55 p.m. April 25. 7800 block Stenton Ave. Between 6:15 a.m. and 9:05 p.m., an unknown person forced entry through front door and stole a Dell laptop computer, brown leather wallet with checkbook and several credit cards, assorted silver and gold jewelry and a yellow gold name-plated bracelet and necklace with Nicole on them. Reported at 9:18 p.m. April 25. 7800 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states that he came home and found that an unknown person had pried open his apartment door and stole the following: one Dell computer, one pair of gold cuff links and one iPOD. Reported at 12:29 p.m. April 26. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown person stole a blue 1997 Chevy Suburban, Pennsylvania tag EML 8511 from Wyndmoor train station. Reported at 3:51 p.m. April 26. 7700 block Stenton Ave. Complainant states she parked her vehicle at this location on April 25 at 11 p.m. and when she returned to vehicle at 5:30 a.m., her car was gone. Taken was a red 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass, Pennsylvania tag FWR 9356 with bumper stickers, “Last Tuesday,” “Me Without You” and “NSYNC.” Reported at 6:01 p.m. April 26. 8400 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a 5’ x 50’ vinyl coated fence. April 28. 7700 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that she bumped offender’s vehicle with her door and male became irate. Male punched her in the face and then pulled out a silver semi-automatic with black trim. Male then fled. Offender, black male, 5’4” tall, 31 — 35 years old with mustache and beard, wearing a brown jacket and driving a blue Acura. Reported at 1:47 a.m. Summary — Nine crimes for week: one robbery, two burglaries, three stolen vehicles, one theft from vehicle, one aggravated assault and one other theft. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
