Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of Feb. 4 to Feb. 10, 2007.

Feb. 4. 300 block W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that at approximately 3:45 p.m., an unknown person broke the passenger side window of a 2004 Subaru and stole a purse containing a driver’s license, credit cards, Blackberry cell phone, money and various other items.

Feb. 5. 100 block E. Moreland Ave. Complainant states that between 10:30 a.m. and 12:50 p.m., an unknown person ripped out screen to basement window and forced their way into house. When complainant got home she found two laptop computers, one black Dell and a white iBook stolen.

Feb. 5. Bethlehem Pike & Germantown Ave. Complainant states he parked his vehicle at this location and noticed his Pennsylvania tag, YCK5535, missing.

Feb. 7. Unit block Summit Street. Complainant states that an unknown person entered home through basement window and stole one Dell Laptop computer and one pair of 18k gold pearl/diamond earrings.

Feb. 8. 100 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that at about 3 p.m. she noticed her Wachovia Visa card was missing from her wallet. She asked her son about the card and he said he found it on the floor. Complainant checked and found that two withdrawals had been made.

Summary — Five crimes for week: two burglaries, two thefts from vehicles and one other theft.
