KIDS LOVE DAD’S SWEETS:
Herb Scott, long-time professional chef and caterer, has just opened
Herb Scott’s Catering at 6531 Germantown Ave. in Mt. Airy.
Scott has catered countless corporate and gala fundraising events
over the years, but he has just begun creating his own from-scratch
desserts. That’s because his children — Lily, 6, a student
at Faith Tabernacle School; Royal, 4, and Ian, 2 (all seen here)
— “inspired us to start baking because they always ask
if they can work in the kitchen to make beautiful foods. And because
Lily believes I am ‘a great chef.’” For more information,

DO YOU HAVE ANY SALT AND
PEPPER SHAKERS? “No, we don’t. If we did, they
