Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of Nov. 12 to Nov. 18, 2006. Nov. 12. 500 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole his silver trumpet. Reported at 3:54 p.m. Nov. 13. Unit block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that he parked and locked his 2007 Chevrolet and when he returned he found that someone had smashed out windows and stole money. Reported at 11:49 a.m. Nov. 13. 100 block W. Abington Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the passenger side rear window of a 2006 Volvo XC90 and stole money. Nov. 13. 8100 block Shawnee Street. Complainant states that an unknown person smashed out passenger side window of a 2006 Chevy and stole two t-shirts. Reported at 9:49 a.m. Nov. 13. 8100 block Roanoke Street. Complainant states that between 8 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 13, an unknown person broke the right vent window of a 2001 Toyota Corolla and stole money. Nov. 13. Unit block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that between 8 p.m. on Nov. 12 and 7:45 a.m. on Nov. 13, an unknown person broke the driver’s side rear window and stole a Verizon cell phone and a car charger. Reported at 7:55 a.m. Nov. 15. Unit block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that he parked his 1997 Ford Escort at 11 p.m. on Nov. 11, and on Nov. 15, at 8 a.m., he discovered his passenger side rear window was broken and money was missing. Nov. 18. 7800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole his Pennsylvania tag YRF9886 from his blue 1981 Datsun truck. Reported at 1 p.m. Summary — Eight crimes for week: seven thefts from vehicles and one other theft. More thefts from vehicles may not have been reported. It is important to report as police do not see a crime wave unless thefts are reported. Also, please do not leave anything in your car. |
