Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of October 22 to October 28, 2006. Oct. 22. 8000 block Crittenden Street. Complainant states that an unknown person[s] removed four rails from his fence and also a sign on the front lawn was taken out of the ground. Three rails were returned and one still missing. Reported at 10:31 a.m. Oct. 22. Germantown and Northwestern Aves. Complainant states that an unknown person broke into a black 1995 Honda Del Sol. Three credit cards were stolen from complainant and friend. Taken was one Capitol One Visa, one Citi Bank Visa and one Commerce Visa. Reported at 9:52 a.m. Oct. 25. Anderson and Evergreen Ave. An unknown black male approached complainant and demanded she give up her iPod. Complainant felt threatened and fled towards her home. Offender followed for about a block and then disappeared in an unknown direction. Complainant could not go to NWDD at the time. Male, thin build, 5’10” tall, wearing a baseball cap and black sweatshirt. Reported at 5:27 p.m. Oct. 25. Crittenden and Mermaid Lane. Complainant was confronted by a black male driving a silver 1990’s Mitsubishi who asked for directions. Male then pulled out a black semi-automatic and asked for everything. Complainant gave up his wallet containing a Wachovia Visa Check card, Pennsylvania driver’s license and social security card. Reported at 11:18 p.m. Oct. 25. 7800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states he was leaving this location when a black male approached him and stated, “Stop it.” Male then pulled out a black pistol and immediately dropped it and then fled eastbound on Springfield Avenue from Germantown. Complainant did not wish to go to NWDD. Oct. 27. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole a colonoscope, Ser. #2603133, Model CP 180A from operating room department. Stolen between Oct. 13 and Oct. 18. Reported at 10:44 a.m. on Oct. 27. Summary — Six crimes for week: three robberies, one theft from vehicle and two other thefts.
