Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of Oct. 15 to Oct. 21, 2006. Oct. 15. Unit block Woodale Road. Complainant states she saw the rear door of her neighbor’s house open for two days and called police. Police arrived and found the rear door kicked in and the house ransacked. Taken was one television and possibly other items. Reported at 6:32 p.m. Oct. 16. 100 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that offenders followed him and his friend for about one block and then ran up to them, pointed a gun and demanded their wallets and cell phones. Both males fled eastbound on Willow Grove Ave. Oct. 16. 8000 block Crefeld Street. Complainant states that between Oct. 15 and Oct. 16, an unknown person entered his 2004 Jeep Cherokee and took two brown wallets containing various IDs, credit cards, car radio and a 38 caliber Smith and Wesson model 442, Ser. No. CDN9443 and money. No sign of forced entry. Oct. 20. 200 block E. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that he parked his 1998 Jeep Cherokee at train station and when he returned at 4 p.m. he found someone had tried to gain entry by prying open the driver’s side door handle. Entry was not made. Reported at 4:24 p.m. Summary — Four crimes for week: one robbery, one burglary, two thefts from vehicle. Town Watch, 215-248-1320. |
