
Legendary artist and designer
John Van Hamersveld signed posters and shook hands at Hideaway
Music’s new location, 8612 Germantown Ave., last Thursday.
Hamersveld has designed over 300 album covers for artists that include
the Beatles, Rolling Stones, KISS, Blondie and others. The Californian
artist also created signature posters during the 50s, 60s and 70s
for Jimi Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, Cream and more, some of which
he signed for fans during Thursday’s visit. Hideaway Music
moved to its new location from the 8400 block of Germantown Avenue

Fourteen Students Excel
in National Tests Springside School and Chestnut Hill Academy had
14 students receive honors in the National Merit Scholarship Program
and also the National Achievement Scholarship Program. Pictured
