Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 24 to Sept. 30, 2006. Sept. 27, 7700 block Crefeld St. Complainant states that between 12:30 and 10:30 p.m. an unknown person(s) stole a diamond platinum engagement ring from a jewelry box. Complainant states that the side door had been left open for housekeepers that have been cleaning the home for over 6 months and never noticed anything missing. Her husband was home. Sept. 27, 500 W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person stole his Cingular Motorola Razr cell phone. Several people have access to building. Reported at 7:49 p.m. Sept. 28, 100 block W. Highland Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person took his iPod from his home without his permission. Complainant states that the last time he saw his iPod was on Sept. 17. He also stated that Apple had sent an e-mail to him saying that someone was trying to log on using his personal information. No sign of forced entry. Reported at 7:55 a.m. Sept. 28, 8800 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that on Aug. 8 between 11 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. an unknown person stole a Verizon cellular phone and money. Sept. 28, 100 block W. Evergreen Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person broke the driver’s side window and opened the hood and stole a battery from a 2003 Toyota Echo. Reported at 1:03 a.m. Summary — 5 crimes for week, 1 theft from vehicle and 4 other thefts. |
