Crime ReportThe following crimes are from the week of August 20 to August 26, 2006. Aug. 20. 700 block Wolcott Drive. Complainant states that on August 19, between 3 and 5 p.m., she noticed when she returned home pry marks on the door. No entry was made. Reported at 8:34 a.m. on Aug. 20. Aug. 21. Unit block Newton Street. Between 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 6 p.m. on Aug. 11, an unknown person stole a Marin Silver racing bicycle from mud room. Reported at 11:17 a.m. on Aug. 21. Aug. 21. 100 block Bethlehem Pike. Complainant states she left her home secured and when she returned she found bedroom window broken. Taken was one Apple computer, one flat screen television and one pair of gold cuff links. Reported at 7:08 p.m. Aug. 21. 100 block Summit Streeet. Complainant states that an unknown person smashed window with a large rock and cut screen out. Nothing was taken. Reported at 2:17 p.m. Aug. 23. 100 block W. Willow Grove Ave. Complainant states she left on vacation on July 22 and returned on August 20 and discovered several items missing. Taken were platinum rings, wedding bands, earrings, watches, camcorder, jeans and shoes. Complainant allowed a person to stay at her home to take care of two dogs. Aug. 23. 100 block W. Springfield Ave. Complainant states that an unknown person removed two bicycles from front steps: one yellow DHS bike and one green Mongoose bike. Reported at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 26. 8200 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that two black males entered through rear door and went upstairs in the restaurant and duct-taped two employees at point of shot gun and threatened to shoot them if they didn’t give up the money. Taken from first employee was business money, two cell phones, wallet containing money, debit credit card and various IDs. Second complainant was also threatened with shot gun and robbed of money, cell phone. Both offenders fled through rear door. Reported at 3:00 a.m. Summary — Seven crimes for week: one robbery, three burglaries, two residential thefts and one other theft. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
