Michael Shaughnessy

Michael J. Shaughnessy, of Lafayette Hill, died on July 23. Mr. Shaughnessy is survived by his wife Mary Lee Shaughnessy (Newman); daughter, Rita Anne Josiassen (Rick); son, Michael J. Shaughnessy Jr. and two grandchildren, Kate and Kendra.

Funeral and interment will be private.


Olga Wolf

Olga B. Wolf, of Chestnut Hill, died on July 27 at The Lodge at Chestnut Hill where she had resided for the past five years.

Mrs. Wolf moved to Chestnut Hill with her two small children in 1958 to work for her sister, Stella Melia at her hair salon Robert & Stella’s in Chestnut Hill.

Mrs. Wolf was predeceased by her husband, William J. Wolf. She is survived by two daughters: Jane Wolf-Lesslie (Wayne) and Linda Maletta (the late Tony); three granddaughters; Gina Maletta Sannicandro, Liza and Kara Maletta; two great-grandchildren; Anthony and Angelina; and three sister; Stella Melia of Oreland, Pa., Melanie Way of Aurora, Colo., and Daria Stewart of Port Orange, Fla.

A viewing was held fon Aug. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Our Mother of Consolation Church, 9 E. Chestnut Hill Ave.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church at 9 a.m. on Aug. 3. Interment will take place at St. Aloysius Cemetery, Pottstown, Pa.
