Crime Report

The following crimes are from the week of July 2 to July 8, 2006.

July 2. Unit block W. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states that between 9:30 and 10 p.m., an unknown person entered home and stole a Dell Bronco 130 laptop and two sets of keys. Back door was left unlocked and that door key in lock was also taken.

July 3. Unit block W. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states he came home and noticed spare keys were missing. He looked outside to find his 1986 gray Toyota Camry, Pennsylvania tag DHK9420 was gone. Reported at 4:32 a.m.

July 4. Druim Moir Lane. Complainant states that between 1 and 8 a.m., someone entered home through open garage door, entered the kitchen and stole the following items: one Dell laptop computer, one black case bearing “Property of U.S. Attorney’s Office,” one Dell Inspirion 8600 laptop, one Motorola V220 cell phone and a white iPod Nano with black case and money.

July 4. 500 block W. Moreland Ave. Complainant states that between 12 p.m. on June 29 and 12 p.m. on July 1, a person entered sunroom and stole one HP laptop computer, one Sony video camera and one black Palm keyboard.

July 5. 300 Valley Green Drive. Complainant states that she parked her vehicle and left it secured. When she returned, she noticed one of her credit cards, which was locked in her vehicle, was missing. Reported at 1 p.m.

Summary — Five crimes for week: three burglaries, one stolen vehicle and one theft from vehicle.
