Crime Report The following crimes are from the week of May 21 to May 27. May 21 W. Bells Mill Road. Complainant states that between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., an unknown person gained entry to a 2001 Subaru and stole two U.S. Airways credit cards and a social security card. Credit cards were used to purchase a substantial amount of merchandise. Reported at 3:51 p.m. May 22 7900 block Germantown Ave. Complainant states that a male entered store and purchased a disposable camera and paid for merchandise with a $100 bill. When given change, male stated that complainant gave him too much and reached into register and took back $100 bill, then fled in an unknown direction. Black male, 6-foot-4, clean-shaven, thin build, bald, wearing burgundy pants and shirt with printing on it. Occurred at 4:07 p.m. May 25 8800 block Crefeld Street. Complainant states that an unknown person stole items from the trunk of a 2004 Chrysler Cruiser, which has an interior pop-up switch. Taken were glass tools, 30 CDs and a flashlight. Reported at 9:28 a.m. May 26 100 block W. Abington Ave. Complainant states he was sitting in his vehicle at this location when he was approached by a male who stated, “Give me the car.” When complainant refused, male punched him and dragged him from vehicle and drove southbound on Roanoke Street. Complainant suffered minor injury and was taken to Chestnut Hill Hospital. Occurred at 2:20 p.m. |
