CONCERT: Pianist Mikhail Yanovitsky is the featured artist
in a concert of The Leopold Mozart Chamber Music Series on Sunday,
March 19, 7 p.m., at Temple University’s Rock Hall Auditorium,
Broad and Cecil B. Moore Avenue. Dr. Yanovitsky will perform Italian
Concerto, BWV971 by J.S. Bach, Sonata, K. 310 (a minor) by Mozart,
Jeux D’Eau by Maurice Ravel, and two pieces by Brahms, Six
Pieces, Op. 118, and Variations on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 35 (Books

LITTLE PEOPLE’S MUSIC, a playful
music program for babies, toddlers, pre-schoolers and their parents/caregivers,
will be hosting free demonstration classes on Tuesday, March 21,
10 a.m., and again on Saturday, March 25, 10 a.m. at Chestnut Hill
United Methodist Church, 8812 Germantown Ave. Spring term classes

Kelly-Rizzo Wedding
Anne Margaret Kelly of Chestnut Hill and Joseph Richard Rizzo Jr.
of Horsham, were married on December 30, 2005.
The ceremony took place at Our Mother of Consolation Church in Chestnut
Hill. The celebrant was Father Michael McCue OSFS. A reception followed
at The Ballroom at The Ben in Philadelphia.
The bride is the daughter of the late Jack and Anne Kelly. The groom
is the son of Joseph R. Rizzo Sr. and the late Margaret Rizzo.
The bridal party included Veronica Morey, sister of the bride, as
Matron of Honor; Kristen Morey, niece of the bride as Maid of Honor;
John Rizzo, brother of the groom as Best Man; Joseph Rizzo, son
of the groom; and Joseph McAfee, best friend of the groom.
The newlyweds honeymooned in St. Lucia.

Monday’s kick-off
event for “Clean Sweep,” a project funded by
the Triskeles Foundation to clean the Avenue in Mt. Airy, was hosted
at the Trolley Car Diner. Parkway Northwest High School for Peace
and Justice student participants Cassandra Plumer, Iesha McClain

HILL TEENS ON ICE:
Teens, Inc. members are seen taking a break from skiing. These Chestnut
Hill area youngsters traveled to Camelback for a day of fun, and
for some, a first ski lesson. From left are Patrick Gilmore, Michael
Bozzacco, Matt George and Darinel Pinzon. This is one of several
trips a year, and membership includes experiencing great fun at
the Teen Center, open on Friday nights for 6th - 8th graders, and
Saturday nights for 9th – 12th graders.
