Crime Report
The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 22 to Jan. 28, 2006. Jan. 22. Seminole Ave. (8000 block Stenton Ave.) An unknown person entered an unlocked garage through the side door and went into a 2001 Jeep and stole a screwdriver from the glove compartment. Reported at 8 p.m. Jan. 23. 8800 block Germantown Ave. Hospital volunteer states that between 8 and 8:15 a.m. she was at her desk and a male was in the Peirce Family Room and she asked him why he was in the room. He stated he was waiting for a ride. She left him briefly to get some paperwork and when she returned the male and the money in her purse was gone. Complainant states that no one else was in the waiting room. White male, 31-35 years old, 145 lbs., with scruffy beard, wearing a blue jacket and blue cap. Summary — Two crimes for week: one burglary and one theft. Town Watch, 215-248-1320.
