Obituaries

John Accetta

John A. Accetta, (“Jack”), 76, of Chestnut Hill, died October 26 of ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). A graduate of Central High School, he received his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business. He served as a lieutenant in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1955, then spent his career in advertising and marketing, first at Aitkin-Kynett Company, and then retiring from Interac in December, 1996.

Mr. Accetta is survived by his wife of 41 years, Fran Accetta (nee Dintino), daughters Susan E. and Jill L. Accetta, sister-in-law Norma DeFelice, brother-in-law George E. Murray, and many cousins and friends.

A viewing was held at Our Mother of Consolation Roman Catholic Church, followed by a Mass of Christian burial and interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon, Pa.
