Ryan William McMurray, 26, son of Amanda and Christopher McMurray was born on February 17, 1992 in Chestnut Hill, PA. He attended Springfield Elementary and Plymouth Whitemarsh Schools. Also known to his friends as “Copper”, Ryan died on April 26, 2018 at the age of 26, way too soon.
He is survived by his father, Christopher McMurray and girlfriend, Sharmell Branch; mother Amanda McMurray and fiancé, Neil Schecker; sister, Charlett McMurray; grandmother, Renee Charlett; and extended family in the USA, Ireland and England. Ryan enjoyed body building at the Gym, swimming at the Wissahickon and hanging out with friends.
He was a fun loving, loyal young man who passed away after a long struggle with depression, anxiety and drug addiction disease. We all miss him so much with his mischievous and friendly smile that matched his personality.
