Phebe Drayton Strong of Cathedral Village died peacefully on April 4th 2018 at the age of 89.
Beloved Mother of Ruth D. Strong Ferraro(Tom), John P. Strong and the late George V. Strong(Ann); Grandmother of Anna Strong Safford, William D. Ferraro, Eliza P. Strong, Caroline D. Strong, Peter S. Ferraro and Elizabeth P. Ferraro; sister of Elizabeth Drayton Hopkins, and the late Frederick R. Drayton Jr. and the late Ruth Drayton Dodge; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Memorial Service will be held on Sat. April 28th. at 10 am in Church of the Redeemer, 230 Pennswood Rd., Bryn Mawr, PA 19010. Burial will be private in the Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the George V. Strong Scholarship Fund at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy, 500 W Willow Grove Ave, Phila., PA 19118.
