Democrat State Representative Chris Rabb will host an event specifically for millennials, between the ages of 18 and 35 this Thursday, Feb. 22 at 6:30 p.m. The event will at 7165 Germantown Ave., the former North by Northwest and 7165 Lounge property.

It is open to all residents, students, activists, and leaders in the 200th Legislative District, which includes the neighborhoods of Mt. Airy, Chestnut Hill and Oak Lane.

Rabb said he is holding the event to hear from young people about the current issues that are important to them, including education, adequate living wages, employment and mental health. Chris Rabb has been actively working in areas of agriculture and rural affairs, commerce, finance, state government, and urban affairs in the Philadelphia area since he took office in 2017.

There will be food, poetry, music by D.J. Reezey, entertainment and giveaways at the community event forum to encourage millennials to attend and get their voices heard. Anyone who wishes to attend the event are encouraged to RSVP by emailing, although it is not required. The event is free for all and open to the community.
