A man who committed suicide at Valley Green Inn on July 31 has been identified as Robert Harmer Jr. Harmer, 36, was found by park users early on July 31. He died from a single gunshot wound. Police were called and ruled the death a suicide. A funeral for Harmer was held on August 5, Interment was private.
