Ex-‘troublemaker’ is an inspiration

I am co-director with Paula Mandel of “The Stained Glass Project: Windows That Open Doors.” Your article, “Hill ex-‘troublemaker’ has his act together at Iron Hill” (July 27 issue), is truly inspiring. I will be sure to look for Mr. DeWalt next time I dine at Iron Hill, right across the street from one of our greatest supporters, Bruce Hoffman at Gravers Lane.

Our program was recently featured at Woodmere Art Museum through the spring with an exhibition of the windows our students created for an impoverished school in Uganda. This same exhibition will appear at Temple Judea Museum of Keneseth Israel Synagogue in Elkins Park, PA, from early September through November.

Our students have similar backgrounds to Mr. DeWalt, and I know they will be very impressed with him. I have posted your article on our Facebook page.
