One of the signature events of the Chestnut Hill Conservancy's 50th anniversary year, The Visionaries Roundtable, invites a panel of thought leaders to spark an evening of enlightened discussion about balancing historic preservation and new development in Chestnut Hill in the wake of unprecedented urban expansion – both here and throughout Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Museum of Art President Gail Harrity will moderate the conversation featuring architect and professor David De Long, Inquirer columnist Inga Saffron, landscape architect Bryan Hanes, and developer Richard Snowden.

Preceding the roundtable will be opening remarks by Oscar-nominated director Nathaniel Kahn and a keynote address from architect, author and critic Witold Rybczynski. Be there for only $10 a person ($5 students). A “Meet the Speakers” reception with fondue and wine will begin at 6 p.m. for $40 a person (includes the main event at 6:30 p.m.). A complimentary social, courtesy of Chill Frozen Yogurt, will follow the event.

Advance registration required: www.chconservancy.org or 215-247-9329, x202
