On April 22, the Norwood-Fontbonne Student Council hosted the first NFA Art Gala in the Sister James Anthony Hall Gymnasium. The Gala showcased stunning representations from the visual, performaning, and culinary arts.

The students’ artwork was sold through a silent auction, with all proceeds donated to a local charity, Fresh Artists. This non profit delivers innovative art programs and art supplies to severely under-resourced schools.

Fresh Artists also displays children’s artwork in highly visible, yet unexpected places, and engages the young artists as full philanthropic partners in the giving process.

“We were so excited to showcase our students and to raise money for such a wonderful cause,” said Student Council president, Gianna Branca. “All of the student participants are so talented, and we were thrilled the NFA community embraced this idea!”
