The following crimes were reported from Dec. 20 thru Dec. 26.
Dec. 22. 100 block of Benezet Street. Burglary. At approximately 9:30 p.m., a man told police he returned home at 6:30 p.m. to find the plexiglass in the dining room window partially broken out. The owner told police he didn't notice anything missing.
Dec. 22. 7700 block of Cherokee Street. Theft. At approximately 10:11 a.m., an owner told police that an unknown offender took one gold necklace and one gold wedding ring valued at approximately $3,150.
Dec. 23. 200 block of West Chestnut Hill Avenue. Theft from vehicle. Owner told police that between 11:06 p.m. on Dec. 22 and 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 23, an unknown person gained entry to her unlocked 2003 Lexus and stole a black hunting knife and $5 in coins from the tray.
Dec. 24. 8500 block of Germantown Ave. Theft. A woman told police that an unknown person went into her pocket and took the following items: Mastercard, American Express Card, Pa. Driver's License and $300 in cash from her rear pants pocket.
