Crime Report: One burglary, three thefts, and four thefts from vehicles

The following crimes are reported from Oct. 31 through Nov. 7.

Oct. 31. 8800 block of Germantown Avenue. Theft. At approximately 9:57 p.m., a woman told police that while she was at Chestnut Hill Hospital, she noticed Oxycodine 5mg., Tramatt 50mg., $10 in cash and two bottles of lotion missing from her bag.

Nov. 2. 8800 block of Germantown Avenue. Theft from vehicle. Owner told police that he returned to his vehicle at approximately 4:26 p.m. and discovered the driver side and passenger side window broken. Taken was $3 in change.

Nov. 2. 8200 block of Germantown Avenue. Theft. The foreman for Liberty Roofing Inc. stated that an unknown person took the listed roofing tools and materials: four Leister heat welders, two impact cordless Dewalt screw guns, two regular screw guns, one Dewalt drill. Valued at $3,565. The items were left at the construction site which is not secure. The items were taken sometime between Oct. 30 and Nov.2.

Nov. 3. 8000 block of Navajo Street. Theft from vehicle. At approximately 11:31 a.m., a woman told police that an unknown person took took $10 cash, headphones, a pink robe and slippers from her unlocked 2005 silver GMC. Valued at $110.

Nov. 3. 7900 block of Germantown Avenue. Theft from vehicle. At approximately 8:46 a.m., owner told police that an unknown person broke the driver side window. Taken was a black iPod worth $150.

Nov. 3. 8300 block of Millman Street. Theft. At approximately 6:38 p.m., the owner told police that an unknown person broke the lock off his shed and took two bikes valued at $400.

Nov. 4. 200 block of West Evergreen Avenue. Burglary Residential. At approximately 9:28 a.m., a woman returned around 9 p.m. to find her ground floor bathroom window blinds up and the windowsill items broken on the bathroom floor. The bathroom window was raised about one inch and the outside window was pushed closed but not secure. The woman told police the outside window is left unlocked. She also discovered her ground floor kitchen door open but there was no damage to either lock. Taken was a bottle of Gray Goose Vodka, Skagen Wristwatch with gray face and a brown band. Valued at $140.

Nov. 6. 7900 block of Winston Road. Theft from vehicle. Owner told police sometime between Nov, 5 at 6:30 p.m. and Nov. 6 at 7:30 a.m., an unknown person smashed the passenger side front window on his vehicle. Taken was $2 in change.

Summary: Eight crimes for the week: One burglary, three thefts, and four thefts from vehicles.
