It will include six lovely homes with six special kitchens in the Chestnut Hill area.
The tour features six fabulous chefs, caterers and purveyors of fine food, each in a kitchen dispensing stories, information and tastings of the specialties you will find at their establishments: Laura Belmonte and Claudia Stemler (Brunettes’ Bookshop Bakery), Rob Mullen (Campbell’s Place), John Arena (Chestnut Grill), Susan and Dan Weiss (Chestnut Hill Cheese Shop), Anita Sheiding (Green Soul) and Bledar Istrefi (Trattoria Moma).
Admission to this self-guided tour is $35 in advance, $40 if purchased the day of the tour. Special pricing is available for groups of 10 or more. You may register on the Center for Enrichment website, www.chestnuthillenrichment.org, or in person at the Center’s office, 8431 Germantown Ave.(cash, check and credit cards are all accepted). On the day of the tour, everyone will pick up their registration packets at The Stagecrafters Theater, 8130 Germantown Avenue. Questions? Proceeds from the Nov. 7 Harvest Kitchen Tour will enable the Center for Enrichment to continue providing activities and resources to the older adults of northwest Philadelphia and eastern Montgomery County.
