Crime Report: 5 thefts

The following crimes are from the week of Sept. 13 – Sept. 19

Sept. 13. W. Gravers Lane and Germantown Ave. Theft from vehicle. A man told police he parked his 2010 Toyota Tundra on Sept. 12 at 7 p.m. and returned on Sept. 13 at 11 a.m. To find his passenger side window smashed. Taken was cycling shoes and clothing valued at $250.

Sept. 13. 8400 Block of Ardleigh Street. Theft. At 8:30 a.m., a man told police he left his home and returned at 12:50 p.m. and noticed his Trek Mountain Bike (red and blue in color with a white frame (valued at $1,500) was missing from his back porch. The bike was not locked.

Sept. 14. 8400 Block of Ardleigh Street. Theft. Man told police he parked his vehicle on Sept. 13 at 1 a.m. And said he returned to his vehicle to find the driver front door ajar and his black wallet containing $6 in cash, his identification and debit card missing. Doors were unlocked. No damage to the vehicle.

Sept. 16. 7800 Block of Ardleigh Street. Theft from vehicle. A man told police he left town on Sept. 13 and returned at Sept. 14 around 7 p.m. She later noticed that a Townie electra bike, black and red w/sport basket valued at $1,200 and two Marin mountain bikes with water bottles valued at $1200 were missing. All items were removed from the backyard.

Sept. 17. Theft from Vehicle unit block of Willow Grove Ave. A woman told police that an unknown person broke into her vehicle by breaking in the front passenger window. Items taken included a Northface brand jacket, a wallet, a debit card, discover card and $80 in cash.

Summary – five crimes: three thefts from vehicles and two thefts.
