The following crimes are from the week of Aug. 2 to Aug. 8, 2015
Aug. 3. 400 block of W. Springfield Ave. Theft reported to have taken place at 9:32 a.m.
Aug. 4. 400 block of W. Springfield Ave. At approximately 8:59 a.m., a man stated that an unknown person broke the driver's side window of his vehicle and stole from the center console a pair of Bose headphones, valued at $120.
Aug. 4. 7900 Germantown Ave. A woman stated that she parked her vehicle in front of her house at 8 p.m. and woke up at 8 a.m. to find her passenger side window broken and a Dell laptop, silver and valued at $2,000, missing from vehicle.
Aug. 6. 7700 block of Germantown Ave. At approximately 3:48 p.m., the manager of Staples stated that she observed offender, Elizabeth Baxter, a 35-year-old female, of Wyndmoor, attempting to leave store with canned air in her bag, valued at $136. Baxter fell and stated she has seizures.
Aug. 6. 200 block of East Hartwell Lane. At approximately 5:31 p.m., coordinator at the Water Tower Recreation Center stated that an unknown person took the secured plaque, a 1 foot x 2 foot brass plaque valued at $1,600, from outside the property.
Aug. 6. 8700 block of Germantown Ave. At approximately 7:22 p.m., the manager of Wine & Spirits stated that an offender, described as a black male in a long sleeve jean shirt and black jeans, took a bottle of Bacardi Light, valued at $13, and left store without paying.
