On Sunday, June 14, more than 40 artists took to the Avenue to paint out in the open for Chestnut Hill’s very first art competition, Plein Air. Presented by the Chestnut Hill Business District and sponsored by Valley Green Bank, the event featured an assortment of artwork, live music, food, fashion, and arts and crafts. Acclaimed artist Elizabeth Osborne, of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and art curator and consultant Marsha Moss judged the competition. Gravers Lane and McCarty galleries also sponsored the event.
