World-renowned ice sculptor and Mt. Airy resident Peter Slavin will hold a demonstration at Laurel Hill Gardens in Chestnut Hill, 8125 Germantown Ave., on Sunday, March 8, from 1 to 3 p.m., during which he will create two ice sculptures based on Disney’s “Frozen.”

Families are encouraged to attend this event, which is free and open to the public, and will feature Princess Elsa along with complimentary s’mores and hot chocolate.

Slavin, co-owner of Fear No Ice, said he is excited for the event and will be joined by one of his company's sculptors, Don Harrison, whose work “Shiva,” an ice sculpture on Martin Luther King Drive he crafted under an underpass.
