The Chestnut Hill Center for Enrichment continues its monthly evening series, bringing you well-informed speakers and important information on matters of health, with “The Empowered Patient” Thursday evening, March 12 at 7 p.m. in the Chestnut Hill Hotel's Bombay Room, 8229 Germantown Ave.
Our featured speaker is Harbinger Associates principal Alfred O’Neill, whose personal mission is to help patients, doctors and caregivers connect with the entire healthcare eco-system. O’Neill is once again living in the Chestnut Hill community after spending many years in New York as a mass market digital marketing executive.
Next Thursday, come prepared to learn and ask your own questions about the Affordable Care Act, electronic health records, how doctors and hospitals are paid, changes within the pharmaceutical industry. As O’Neill puts it, “If you know why everything is changing you can take advantage of it.”
This program is free and open to the public. If you are dining at the Chestnut Grill before or afterward, let your server know to save 10 percent on the food portion of your bill.
To help with plans for seating and refreshments in the Bombay Room, the Center for Enrichment would appreciate knowing in advance how many will attend. Contact the CHCE by phone (215-248-0180) or email (the.chce@verizon.net) to RSVP.
