‘CAT CAMP‘ PROGRAMS ON HILL: The “Cat Camp” at 8514 Germantown Ave., sponsored by Brenda’s Cat Rescues and open every weekend, was visited by 265 people last Saturday and 125 people last Sunday. This weekend, Feb. 14. at 1 p.m. ceramic instructor Janice Strawder, of Allens Lane Art Center, leads a "Love Your Pet" clay project for children of all ages. Free. Children will take away a finished product. On Sunday, Feb.15, at 1 p.m., there will be a cat trapping demonstration, humane trap rentals and vouchers for free sterilization from Anne Doley, Coordinator of the Best Friends Philadelphia Community Cats Project. IS SHE JINXED? ‘KITTY KISSES’ AVAILABLE: On Saturday, Feb. 14, Valentine's Day, Brenda’s Cat Rescue will be selling "KItty Kisses" from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Cat Camp, 8514 Germantown Ave. Hot, wet noses are irresistible. All proceeds will help Brenda’s Cat Rescue find homes for the countless cats and kittens they rescue throughout the year in all sorts of weather on the streets of Philadelphia.
