The following crimes are from the week of Jan. 4 to Jan. 10, 2015.
Jan. 3. 700 block of St. Andrews Road. Complainant states that forced entry was made through a second floor window. When she returned home she noticed the following items were missing: 12 pair of earrings, three bracelets and one statue. Value, $7,700. Reported at 12:20 p.m.
Jan. 4. 100 block of Rex Avenue. A red 2004 Toyota Highlander, Pennsylvania tag FSB 8361 was stolen. Value $10,000. Reported at 5:30 p.m.
Jan. 8. 8400 block of Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that at 5 p.m. two unknown people came into the store and took items without paying for them. One offender was a black male, 36 – 40 years old, heavy set, wearing a black jacket, and he placed the items in a brown bag he was carrying. Second offender, black female, 36-40 years old, wearing a black jacket and a multi-colored scarf.
Jan. 9. 8400 block of Germantown Avenue. Complainant states that a black female (5'5” - 5'7”) wearing a brown/gray cape and brown boots asked worker for more shrimp then took meats and left without paying for them. Accompanied by a black male, 5'8” - 6', 230 lbs., wearing a black coat and bluejeans. Meats valued at $150.
Summary – Four crimes for week: one residential burglary, one stolen vehicle and two retail thefts.
