Crime Report: 1 burglary, 2 thefts, stolen car

The following crimes are from the week of Dec. 14 to Dec. 20, 2014.

Dec. 3. 305 W. Chestnut Hill Ave. Complainant states money order was placed in mailbox (inside the residence) and it was noticed that the money was missing.

Dec. 12. 602 W. Mermaid Lane. Male resident of house stated that he came back and saw that the front door had been kicked in. Several dresser drawers were open, but it is unknown if anything is missing at this time.

Dec. 13. 9100 Germantown Ave. At 2:30 p.m. two credit cards had been stolen from vehicle. Complainant states that the driver's side front door had been broken.

Dec. 15. 495 E. Abington Ave. Complainant had parked his vehicle at the above location and when he came out it was gone. Stolen vehicle was a white 2013 Chrysler 300, worth $37,000.

Dec. 15. 7500 Germantown Ave. Complainant came to work and noticed that the back door of their school bus had been broken. Nothing was taken.

Dec. 17. 9600 Germantown Ave. At 1:30 p.m. it was observed that there was no forced entry to vehicle but two credit cards were taken. One of  the credit cards was used at the Lukoil Gas Station.

Summary – Six crimes for week: one burglary, two forced entries, two thefts from vehicles and one stolen vehicle.
