A new theme, a sunset location, and two inaugural service awards are just a few of the exciting, fresh changes that Teenagers Inc. will be showing off at its Taste of Chestnut Hill fundraiser on Sunday, Nov. 23 from 5:30-8 p.m.

Teenagers Inc.’s annual dinner is rapidly approaching and we are feverishly preparing to celebrate everything that makes our organization tick: our volunteers, our community and, the best part of the night, those awesome young people that constitute the essential fabric of Teenagers Inc.

The Taste of Chestnut Hill will be held at Norwood Fontbonne Academy (NFA) in its Fontbonne Commons, a beautiful space which we cannot wait to transform with oranges, yellows and reds to create this year’s theme: “A Dinner on Sunset.”

A Taste of Chestnut Hill has historically highlighted all of Chestnut Hill’s best restaurants, and this year will not disappoint. The culinary selections will be from up and down Germantown Avenue, including but not limited to: Tavern on the Hill, McNally’s, CinCin, Night Kitchen, Rollers, Bruno’s and Top of the Hill Market. We also reached out to our neighbors in Glenside with delicious items from Darcy’s, J & M Meats and Humpty Dumplings.

Another essential fundraising piece is the silent auction, offering numerous items from more Chestnut Hill favorites: Chestnut Hill Sports, Indigo Schuy, Matt Paul Basketball, Hillsely/Hood, Iron Hill Brew Pub, and Diamond Spa, as well as some new additions including Salon L’Etoile and golf lessons at North Hills Country Club, to name a few.

But fundraising isn't the only thing on the agenda. Teenagers Inc. will honor three of our esteemed guests with two new awards. The Richard and Jane Becker Alumnus Service Award will be given to an outstanding alum who has continued to serve with Teenagers, Inc. and work tirelessly to help elevate our operation into their post Teenagers Inc. years. The Champion of Service Award will be presented to an adult who has gone above and beyond the call of duty to keep Teenagers, Inc. afloat with their skills, love of community, and a strong belief in our teen mission.

Behind every dinner are some superb sponsors and this year we have some of the best top sponsors an annual dinner could ever hope for Chestnut Hill Pharmacy, Chestnut Hill Dental, Bowman Properties and Timothy Dwyer of the Principal Financial Group. Thank you to these neighborhood sponsors, restaurants and businesses whose generosity allows A Taste of Chestnut Hill to be a sparkling success year in and year out.

This year’s dinner is sure to be one to remember. Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fontbonne Commons; 1 East Chestnut Hill Ave. for a special night out.

Ticket prices: $30 with a reservation before Nov. 23 or $35 at the door, $10 Children (12 and under) To make a reservation, please call Arianna at 215-260-8013 or Deb D’Angelo at 215-836-5855, or email teenagersinc.director@gmail.com.
